About Us

Company History
Historically Rebtex operated as a division of Rebuff (Pty) Ltd. (Established in May 1966). The focus of this division was the production of natural fibre products being manufactured from pre-dominantly Sisal and Coconut (Coir) fibres for the buffing cloth and domestic carpet industry.

The rapid growth in demand for natural products in the late 90’s demanded Rebtex to become a company in its own right and Rebtex (Pty) Ltd was registered on the 1st of January 2000. The rapid export expansion required the establishment of Rebtex in Australia and UK.
